Marketing Strategies

Identity

What is Brand Development? Branding is the method used by a company to publicize and position its products and services to its chosen target market.

A logo is a graphical element, (ideogram, symbol, emblem, icon, sign) that, together with its logotype (a uniquely set and arranged typeface) form a trademark or commercial brand. Typically, a logo's design is for immediate recognition, inspiring trust, admiration, loyalty and an implied superiority. The logo is one aspect of a company's commercial brand, or economic entity, and its shapes, colors, fonts, and images usually are different from others in a similar market. Logos are also used to identify organizations and other non-commercial entities. (excerpt taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/)

Print Design

Print design is probably the most used genre of graphic design because it constitutes basically everything designed using ink. CD/DVD Covers, flyers, posters, books, newsletters, greeting cards, calendars, magazines, notepads, stickers, tickets, bookmarks and the list goes tirelessly on. It's the most used form because it's the easiest to generate in a cost effective manner. The great thing about print design, is that one piece can be reused, recreated and redistributed over and over and over again.

Signage Design

Signage is mostly associated with having a large square-shaped display stuck on top of a pole. Signage actually comes in many forms. For example banners, vehicle vinyl, window displays, tradeshow displays, yard signs, building signs and billboards are all options of signage. Signs are generally the biggest forms of display. They also come in an array of sizes. Signs are not confined to one type of material. They can be created using wood, metal, coroplast, vinyl among other materials. When you want to be seen and flyers or posters won't do it, this is definitely the way to go.

Web Design

The internet has become the leading vehicle for today's movement of information. Some of the information now found on the world wide web today is transmitted through the content of images, text, video and audio. Most websites incorporate some of not all of those forms to communicate to their prospective viewers in hopes to relay the information of a company, individual, group or organization. Just like in any other design, the owner of the website looks to grab and keep the attention of the viewer to provide them with something of interest. Some even use the internet to sell products or services.
